Since its inception in 1887, the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur has been a transformative force in central Kerala. Originally a small dispensary in 1951, it has evolved into the Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, boasting a 1450-bedded multi-specialty hospital and educational facilities.
The Archdiocese's commitment extends to healthcare, education, and social welfare, with a network including five hospitals, 34 dispensaries, counseling centers, medical training facilities, and rehabilitation centers.
The Catholic community's services, offered since 2006, transcend religious boundaries, catering to the sick and suffering regardless of caste or creed.
