Overview

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, also referred to as Physiatry, is a specialized field within modern medicine dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients through comprehensive care. Rehabilitation, a core aspect of this specialty, involves the integrated use of medical, social, educational, and vocational interventions to train and re-train individuals to achieve their highest level of functional ability.

At our institute, rehabilitation services are provided across three key levels: outpatient, inpatient, and cross consultations. In the outpatient setting, we offer tailored rehabilitation programs to address the specific needs of individual patients. Our inpatient services cater to those requiring intensive rehabilitation following orthopedic, neurosurgical, general surgical, or cardiac interventions, among others. Additionally, we provide cross consultations to patients admitted under other departments who require rehabilitation support.

By offering comprehensive rehabilitation services at multiple levels of care, we aim to empower patients to regain independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve optimal functional outcomes. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that patients receive holistic and personalized care to meet their rehabilitation goals effectively.
